The eLearning process with PADI.

Step 1

 eLearning with PADI

Step 2

Crystal Lake or Pool

Knowledge Development

Water Training

eLearning is your source for the Knowledge Development. It is very interactive and engaging. There are several short videos, some reading and quizzes to reinforce your learning.

It usually takes about 6-8 hours to complete. You are able to log on and log off as often as you need. This allows you to download the content on your tablet or mobile device to learn on the go without an internet connection. (Quizzes will only upload to the PADI system when you have internet connection)

Don't forget to contact us too, as this is the best time to schedule your pool training and quick review.

Simply stop by and see one of the staff to sign up, or TEXT our training manager Ed Boles at (816) 447-4909.

You may also CALL the shop directly at (816) 525-3487 to schedule.

Space may be limited for each class, so please SIGN UP EARLY and reserve your seat.

Confined water training will take place at Crystal Lake. This will precede your open water dives on the same weekend. Crystal lake has pool like conditions.

You will need to attend a short quick review at TD SCUBA on either the Saturday or the Tuesday the week PRIOR TO THE POOL. This lasts approximately 2.5 hours.  You will learn how to setup the equipment and review the information you learned online.

You also receive a free professional grade dive mask and snorkel that is yours to keep.

After this, we will meet you at Crystal Lake. Instruction lasts about 6 hours each day. You will be working with our PADI Professionals to practice the skills and techniques to master the skills necessary to dive.

You will need your own dive boots and fins for this portion of the course. Our student discount  package for standard fins and boots is $99.

Please remember that we will meet or beat online prices from manufacturer authorized online retailers.

Your course fees include all other rental equipment, tanks and weights for the weekend.

Step 3

Open Water

Open Water Certification Dives

Open Water training is where you will apply your SCUBA skills in an open water environment. You will complete open water 4 dives, over a 2-day period.

TD's exclusive Crystal Lake facility is the closest, clearest, cleanest and warmest dive site near Kansas City.

You are also invited to join us and get certified in the ocean on one of our fun and amazing

TD Scuba Trips.
